प्रथमं वक्रतुण्डं च एकदन्तं द्वितीयकम् ।
तृतीयं कृष्णपिङ्गाक्षं गजवक्त्रं चतुर्थकम् ॥२॥
First, as the one with the twisted trunk. Second, as the one with the single tusk. Third, as the one with the fawn colored eyes. Fourth, as the one with the elephants mouth,


lambodaram panchamam cha shashtham vikatameva cha
saptamam vighnarajam cha dhoomravarnam tathashtamam ॥3॥
लम्बोदरं पञ्चमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च ।
सप्तमं विघ्नराजम् च धूम्रवर्णं तथाष्टमम् ॥३॥
Fifth, as the pot-bellied one, Sixth, as the monstrous one, Seventh, as the king of obstacles, Eighth, as the smoke colored one.


navamam bhalachandram cha dashamam tu vinayakam
ekadasham ganapatim dvadasham tu gajananam ॥4॥
नवमं भालचन्द्रं च दशमं तु विनायकम् ।
एकादशं गणपतिं द्वादशं तु गजाननम् ॥४॥
Ninth, as the moon crested one, Tenth, as the remover of hindrances, Eleventh, as the Lord of the hordes, Twelfth, as the one with the elephants face.


dvadashaitani namaani trisandhyam yah pathen-narah
na cha vighnabhayam tasya sarvasiddhi karam prabhuh ॥5॥
द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसंध्यं यः पठेन्नरः ।
न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वसिद्धिकरं प्रभुः ॥५॥
Whosoever repeats these twelve names at dawn, noon and sunset, for him there is no fear of failure, nay, there is constant good fortune.


vidyarthi labhate vidyaam dhanarthi labhate dhanam
putrarthi labhate putraan moksharthi labhate gatim ॥6॥
विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम् ।
पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान्मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम् ॥६॥
He who desires knowledge obtains knowledge. He who desires sons gets sons. He who desires salvation obtains the way.


japedva ganapati stotram shadbhirmasaih phalam labhet
samvatsarena siddhim cha labhate natra sanshayah ॥7॥
जपेद्वगणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासै: फलं लभेत्।
संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशयः ॥७॥
Whosoever mutters the hymn to Ganapati reaches his aim in six months, and in a year reaches perfection, on this point there is no doubt.


ashtabhyo brahmanebhyash cha likhitva yah samarpayeta
tasya vidya bhavetsarva ganeshasya prasadatah ॥8॥
अष्टभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वा य: समर्पयेत।
तस्य विद्या भवेत्सर्वा गणेशस्य प्रसादतः ॥८॥
Whosoever makes eight copies of it, and has them distributed to as many brahmans, he reaches knowledge instantaneously, by the grace of Ganesh.
