ABOUT:
Saraswati (सरस्वती) is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts and science. She has a beautiful and elegant presence. Clad in a white sari, she sits on a white lotus, representing purity and brilliance. She has four hands representing four aspects of human personality in learning; mind, intellect, alertness and ego. She has the sacred scriptures in one hand and a lotus (a symbol of true knowledge) in the second. With her other two hands she plays the music of love and life on the veena.

Goddess Saraswati is the companion of Brahma, and is also revered as his Shakti (power). It was with her knowledge that Brahma created the universe. She is a part of the trinity of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati. All the three forms help the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva in the creation, maintenance and destruction of the Universe.

Translation:
इसके बाद पृथापुत्र अर्जुन ने उन दोनों ही सेनाओं में स्थित ताऊ-चाचों को, दादों-परदादों को, गुरुओं को, मामाओं को, भाइयों को, पौत्रों को, पुत्रों को, तथा मित्रों को, ससुरों को और सुहृदों को भी देखा ।
